These superb landscape wood engravings, of instantly recognizable style, were made by the artist at various times from the 1960s onwards but were gathered, in 1996, to form one thread running through our book LAND, the other being a collection of recent poems on the subject of landscape selected by Eric Williams.
An edition of 20 copies of each was printed subsequently, by Nicolas McDowall on a Columbian Press, which were numbered, titled and signed by the artist.
